'Tis the season...

Christmas is here!! In full effect! Frantic shoppers, holiday traffic, crazy blow up yard decorations, and Grinch's and scrooges. But then there's the family traditions, holiday parties, christmas trees, cold weather, time with friends and family, decorating, time off from work, and not to mention...the giving and recieving of presents! Christmas should be celebrated, not dreaded. It's the celebration of the birth of Christ and we should be joyus during this time, not getting caught up in all the hoop-laa that surrounds the holidays. This is one of the times during the year we take time time to really remember all the important people and things in our life. Merry Christmas, peeps.

It's hard to believe that this year is almost over. I think that as you get older, time goes by much faster. It seems like the years used to last so much longer. Maybe it's the birthday I have coming up. 29...that just doesn't sound good. I remember when I though 30 was old. I have to say though, my 20's were great. I had a great time, learned a lot, met some of my most favorite people. I still have a year until 30, I'll freak out then.
Here are a few pics from Thanksgiving at Mom's.

And here are a few from Seane's family...I didn't do so well at the picture taking there, too busy playing with the baby. :)

First comes proposal, then comes wedding...

Seane and I got married on September 15, 2007 at Pinecrest Country Club. I really just wanted to go somewhere exotic, and it be just the two of us barefoot on a beach somewhere. It was kinda strange for me to be going through all the motions of the wedding day, for time #2. Skipping all the stress and planning of a wedding, not to mention all my over analyzed akwardness about it all seemed ideal. But...it was very important to Seane's family that they experience this with him. So, reluctantly at the time, I agreed to a small, simple ceremony. Now, I'm sooo glad that we listened. I wouldn't trade that day for anything!! Seane and I are both very fortunate to have families that love and support us the way they do. Here's a few pics...

In the beginning....

Hellllo, blog world. I'm late, but I'm here. :) I guess I should start our page with how me and Seane came about. We met in June 2006, introduced by a mutual friend. We went through the motions of dating and falling in love (awww) for a short year and were engaged the first week in June of 2007. Seane is so sweet and the best thing that has ever happened to me! I love him so much. Seane proposed on a Friday night. He had called me at work and told me to come over to his house, instead of him picking me up, and we had the usual dinner plans. I arrived to find a sweet note, giving me specific instructions on what to do after opening the door. Upon opening the door, a string tied individual notes throughout the house, leading to a closed bedroom door. I opened the door to find Seane down on his knee. It was sweet, he was so nervous. Needless to say, I said yes!!
