Friends, Fam, Fun, and Fathers

This past Thursday night I met Candy, Ashley and Holly for a cup or two of java and a couple of hours of gab. We laughed and talked (and laughed) and realized how much we miss each other and being able to hang out more often. When we get together, it seems like we pick right back up, like we haven't missed a beat. There is nothing like true dear friends. I am so thankful for the support group we all have in each other. There were many that were missing at Starbucks that night, but you were there in spirit. Love you girls!

And then on Friday night, Mrs. Kendrah Tennison had us all over for more conversation and fun. Jen, Colleen, Ash, me, Candy, Kendrah...and the stars of the night....Miss Olivia and Miss Aubrey. We enjoyed cocktails, cookies and crackers, pudding coated marshmallows, some fabulous belly rolling and "I'm A Little Teapot" performance. Good Times!! How did we manage to not get pictures of that?

Then Saturday night was Amber's 30th Birthday surprise party. We all met in Tyler at Verra Cruz along with her sister, brother-in-law, cousin and her peeps from Henderson. It was a success, she was surprised and happy. Amber has been such a good friend to me, so happy to celebrate with her. Looking forward to many more birthdays together. Here's a few pics from that night.

Braddock trying Uncle Seane's glasses on for size. He's sooo stinkin cute!!

It was such a great weekend, getting to catch up and be with the ones we love.

In Reese news...we starting sitting up all by ourselves last week. She is loving being able to see everything that's going on around her. Very inquisitive, she is!

and a cute one for the road. :)

Better late than never.

Okay. I'm offically the worst blogger ever!! Its been somewhere around nine months since the last post. In that time, I had a precious baby girl...who runs my life. :) No joke! True, I'm probably not the best manager of free time, but she keeps me on my toes. I'm just going to try and fit the best time of my life and the cutest baby ever, into a catch-up blog. Maybe I'll blog again next month or maybe in 5.

This is Reese. So cute, right?! :) She is such a blessing. This was just the other day. She's growing and changing so much, so quickly. It just flys by. People told me that, but you just don't understand how fast time really goes.

She was born December 27, 2009 at 6:02 pm. She weighed 6 lbs and 3 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. She was delivered by c-section due to stress from labor. She had a little tear in her lung that healed itself within about 48 hours. Her lungs are good and strong now, believe me!

So little!

The faces she makes. Such a ham.

Whoa.

Okay, I'll stop. One more.
