Summertime!!
Hey friends! It's been a while. Everything is going well. I'm 17 weeks, and it seems to be going by pretty fast. I'm over the nausea and vomitting, and couldn't be happier about that! I'm so excited and super grateful. Can't wait to find out the sex, just about 3 more weeks. :)
Since it's been so long, I'm just going to jam in the highlights from the last couple months. In June, Seane and I went to Shreveport to see Marc Broussard at Boomtown Casino. He's so good, and puts on a great concert.

This is Gracie.

She is my friend Jennifer's little girl. To know her, is to adore her. We all love her so much! I go get her alot on the weekends and we go swimming, to the movies, or she spends the night.

Mena, Arkansas
This past weekend we went to Arkansas to ride 4-wheelers in the Ouachita mountains. We went with Steven, Seane's brother and his wife Amber, and Terre, Seane's dad. It was a well needed mini, three day get away. The weather was really nice and the mountains were beautiful. We all had a blast. Here's a few pictures...

And Terre. Love him!! He was a real trooper.

a blast from the past...
Last weekend I was going through pictures, trying to get everything in photo albums. I ran across some real doozies. :) Thought I'd share. We were all so young, and fresh faced. Oh, the memories...
Meredith, Holly, me and Lauren at Shannon Ummell's for bible study.
Cathy and Julie, at a pool party at Christi's. Looking hot, ladies!
This was at my house, a slumber party in the fourth grade, I think. Beth and me, who are super excited about something. And Christi, looove the bangs. I think that is Jenny Eubanks and Katie Baney in the back. If I remember sorrectly this was the night Christi and Katie Killingsworth staged a big fight...and almost ruined my party. haha
Can't remember what this was, I think a band concert...maybe. Not real sure, but they were dressed to impress!

Kendrah and me. And I think that's Beth sitting behind Kendrah. Third grade.
Fourth grade, Mrs. Reader and Mrs. Arnold (I think that was her name.) classes.
Trick or Treat! Me and Kathy, in 1985. Wow.
Ryan, Kendrah and me. Judson Middle School show choir, baby.

Birthday celebrations, Babysitting and a Baby Shower
Last weekend Seane and I went to Superior Bar and Grill in Shreveport to celebrate Candy and Cody's birthdays. Candy turned the big 29 and Cody, 32. We met at Candy and Matt's to caravan over for a good time. It was fun, always memorable! : )

During the day on Saturday we kept Braddock for a couple of hours while Amber went to a wedding shower. He is such an easy baby, so happy and sweet. And Seane is all about this kid!! He's good with him, and adores him. Seane will be a good dad and Braddock has definitely gotten him really wanting a little boy.
On Sunday my mother and I hosted a baby shower for Sandi, a friend of ours. She's having a girl and is about to pop! She has a five year old little boy, this baby girl will be the perfect addition to her sweet family. Congrats Sandi!!

Catching up...
Better late than never...right? It sure is easy to get behind on blogging. The holidays and the new year were great. It's crazy how much you prepare for the season, then it's over. Just like that. It was worth all the hustle and bustle, we have such great families and friends and were fortunate to spend the holidays with them. Our second Christmas was better than the first, we couldn't be happier...well, yes we could. I need a baby now. Annnyday now....The waiting and hoping, then the let down, it's a roller coaster! Can that be a New Years resolution, to have a baby? I've always heard you aren't supposed to pray for patience, so maybe you all could pray for it, for me. :)
Here are some pics of our families at Christmas.
Love this one, so typical! Leslie, Cindy and Aunt Nelda.

Seane and I took Gracie to Santa Land a couple days after Christmas. That is the business to be in! They are making a killing out of that place! It's $20 per car, and 3 days after Christmas, they were still crazy busy. Gracie loved it, she's still talking about it.

'Tis the season...
Christmas is here!! In full effect! Frantic shoppers, holiday traffic, crazy blow up yard decorations, and Grinch's and scrooges. But then there's the family traditions, holiday parties, christmas trees, cold weather, time with friends and family, decorating, time off from work, and not to mention...the giving and recieving of presents! Christmas should be celebrated, not dreaded. It's the celebration of the birth of Christ and we should be joyus during this time, not getting caught up in all the hoop-laa that surrounds the holidays. This is one of the times during the year we take time time to really remember all the important people and things in our life. Merry Christmas, peeps.
It's hard to believe that this year is almost over. I think that as you get older, time goes by much faster. It seems like the years used to last so much longer. Maybe it's the birthday I have coming up. 29...that just doesn't sound good. I remember when I though 30 was old. I have to say though, my 20's were great. I had a great time, learned a lot, met some of my most favorite people. I still have a year until 30, I'll freak out then.
Here are a few pics from Thanksgiving at Mom's.

First comes proposal, then comes wedding...
Seane and I got married on September 15, 2007 at Pinecrest Country Club. I really just wanted to go somewhere exotic, and it be just the two of us barefoot on a beach somewhere. It was kinda strange for me to be going through all the motions of the wedding day, for time #2. Skipping all the stress and planning of a wedding, not to mention all my over analyzed akwardness about it all seemed ideal. But...it was very important to Seane's family that they experience this with him. So, reluctantly at the time, I agreed to a small, simple ceremony. Now, I'm sooo glad that we listened. I wouldn't trade that day for anything!! Seane and I are both very fortunate to have families that love and support us the way they do. Here's a few pics...

In the beginning....
Hellllo, blog world. I'm late, but I'm here. :) I guess I should start our page with how me and Seane came about. We met in June 2006, introduced by a mutual friend. We went through the motions of dating and falling in love (awww) for a short year and were engaged the first week in June of 2007. Seane is so sweet and the best thing that has ever happened to me! I love him so much. Seane proposed on a Friday night. He had called me at work and told me to come over to his house, instead of him picking me up, and we had the usual dinner plans. I arrived to find a sweet note, giving me specific instructions on what to do after opening the door. Upon opening the door, a string tied individual notes throughout the house, leading to a closed bedroom door. I opened the door to find Seane down on his knee. It was sweet, he was so nervous. Needless to say, I said yes!!
